Dear Church Family & Friends;

Just wanted to pass a few things along….

Donna continues to make impressive strides! Don now makes the bed in the morning and has started to run loads of laundry. Amazing! She can walk along with her cane, but does keep it in hand when doing stairs or when she is tired.

The radiation continues to go well. They told us before this started that she would become very fatigued - and they were not kidding. However, one of the things that Don needs during her recovery is lots of rest, so this is really a good thing. She'll nap for at least 2-3 hours a day.

Of special note, you may remember that Joy Still asked for prayers to be sent to her as she wanted to make a 'Prayer Quilt" for Donna. (Sorry if you missed this - I do get some Emails bouncing back, and others have been added since.) Anyway, Joy and several women form the church came over this evening to present the quilt to Donna. All I can say is that she has been moved to the point of tears! Thank-you all who participated! Even after the ladies left, she sat in the living room reading the quit for almost an hour, clutching it at the same time, know that love that was behind each prayer. Thank-you!

I will also be sending Don's records to Emory tomorrow to get with a neuro-ongolist. (Yes, I have no idea if that is spelled right!) Hopefully we can get a second opinion quickly.

Thank-you all again for your prayers and concern. As Don & I were speaking with several folks the other day, this whole thing, though very distressing, is exciting in its own way. Donna knows that the Lord has a plan for her.

I'll write again maybe in the beginning of next week, as there isn't a whole bunch to report.

Again, thank-you all. We can't say it enough!

In His Name, Service and Love,

Frank
