Dear Church Family & Friends;
Donna is making some remarkable strides in her recover! Praise the Lord for His work in her life!
This evening, she showed me that she can now open and close her hand to make a fist! Though this may not sound like much, it's a true miracle when you consider she could not do anything just a few days ago!
Also, she was transferred to Joan Glancy yesterday. This is a rehab center in Duluth GA. (I'm not sure if I shared this the other day.) This is a wonderful facility where many miracles are witnessed! Of course, our prayer is that there is another one!
On the whole, she is doing well! Again, our prayer requests are: 1.) For the Lord's will to be done through Donna and our circumstances at this time, 2.) and for her recovery to be as complete and whole as possible, 3.) for the tumor never to come back.
I will share this with you - one of the things that Donna has been wondering about is how the Lord will use this situation. It is no secret where Donna & I stand with our relationship with Jesus Christ, we are saved, born again Christians. Donna's prayer at this point is how her situation can help led other people to the Lord so that they can experience the joy of salvation in an otherwise horrible situation.
We would ask each of you to ask yourself this question - If you were to die tonight from a brain tumor, or auto accident, or anything else, would you go to heaven? Donna knows that if this tumor does take her life in the future, she will be with Christ in heaven.
That has been Donna's prayer throughout this past week - that the people that she has touched will have the same security in their life that we have in ours - that if you died, you would know that Christ has died for sins and that you can go to heaven.
If you have any questions about what I'm talking about, please Email me, call me, speak to someone at Shadowbrook. Please do not be deceived into thinking it can't happen to me - trust me on this one, it can!
You can also visit this link which may help answer some questions. It is very short, concise and easy to understand. http://www.coed4.org/html/salvation.html. Sorry if this offends, but it is too important - and we love you too much not to tell you!
Again, we thank-you all for the many prayers, meals and other acts of love that you have shown our family. I could not begin to thank you all enough for what you have done for us!
In His Name, Service & Love,
Frank
