Dear Church Family & Friends;
This update is somewhat different than the others that I have sent over the past few weeks; Donna has proofread this one!
Don is doing VERY well! She is able to go up & down the stairs in our home without assistance, she is up and walking on her own during the day and she is feeling more and more like herself each day.
Monday, she continues her radiation treatment at Gwinnett. Again, this will be a daily ritual for the next 6 weeks at 10:45 AM. The radiation treatment is actually very short - something akin to having an X-Ray; the whole process takes maybe 5 to 10 minutes.
Many of you have graciously offered to take Donna for her treatments and we thank-you for this! If you are interested, please send me an Email or give a call to us at the house. (770-513-1770) I'll be able to take her on Thursdays, and Brenda Morris will be taking her on Fridays. If you can help on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, please let us know.
Again, Donna's prayer requests are very simple, yet specific. 1.) For the Lord's will to be accomplished in this situation; 2.) For this tumor NEVER EVER to reappear again ANYWHERE in Donna's body; 3.) For any side effects of the radiation treatment to be minimal; 4.) For us to have wisdom from the Lord when we making decisions regarding Donna's treatment.
Also, we would like to thank-you all very much for your prayers, concern, meals, Emails, phone calls and love that you have shown our family. There are no adequate words that I can use that accurately describe the gratitude that Donna & I have for you all. Thank-you again!
