Dear Church Family & Friends;

Tomorrow is the day! Donna comes home from Joan Glancy! She is doing well enough to send home!

This morning, I took her back to the Decatur Radiation Clinic to get this awful head mask made for the radiation therapy - and it was finally done successfully! From there, we went back to Glancy, had a quick bite to eat, then we went to the Gwinnett Radiation Clinic for the first dose of radiation. Outside of this head mask, it goes very quickly and painlessly. We'll see over the next week or two if Donna will suffer any hair loss, fatigue, or other symptoms.

Hereafter, Don will be receiving her radiation treatments everyday, except weekends and holidays for the next 6 weeks. She has a standing appointment at 10:45 AM for this. It is my understanding that the radiation continues to work after the first 6 weeks. Then after another 6 weeks in the beginning of December, we go for an MRI. God willing, there will be no tumor on that scan.

As we can imagine, Don is looking forward to getting home - as well as the boys and myself!

Don & I were speaking today about the outpouring of love that you all have shown to our family and us at this time. I know that I keep saying 'How can we ever say Thank-You?' It has really been a blessing to us to have each of you in our life at this time - and we do say Thanx!

I'll send another update after she gets home. Maybe I can talk her into sending the next Email!

In His Name, Service and Love,

Frank
