Dear Church Family & Friends;

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! And what a year this past one has been!

Its been about 3 weeks since the last update, and just wanted to let you know that Donna continues to recover from her surgery and is doing amazingly well.

Aside from doing light housework, like making the bed and doing laundry, she is starting to cook again. She is also planning to go back to her part time job at the church next Tuesday. She is the Outreach Secretary for our church Shadowbrook Baptist in Suwanee, GA.

The holidays at our home have been nothing short of miraculous. Donna was able to see her sister Joanne from Long Island and her family, her brother Michael and his family from Kentucky and her sister Nila from New York. Donna's daughter was able to spend a few nights with us also. Of course we see Angela & Lewis as they have moved to Lawrenceville over Thanksgiving. It was great having everybody get together again for the Christmas. I know that Donna is feeling more like herself because she is saying that she needs to go "on a strict diet" after the New Year! First Place folks beware!

Donna continues to tolerate her treatment with Temodar very well. Her chemo tends to get her pretty fatigued by the end of the week that she takes her pills, but after that, she bounces back pretty quick and is up and running again!

Also, I had in mind to post a website sharing all that Donna and our family has gone through over the past few months. When she first got sick, I found myself searching the web for any good news that I could grab. I did find several sites that other folks had posted sharing their struggles with a loved one's disease. Therefore, I wanted to help other folks who found themselves in "the club that no one wants to be a member of". You can see Donna's Web Site at www.coed4.org. You'll recognize the name as I'm using the same URL as our old Sunday School site. Our new Sunday School site can now be found at www.coed5.org.

This past year has been truly amazing in our home. And you all have been a big part of it. We cannot express our gratitude for all that everyone has done for us; from the meals, to the emails, to the phone calls, but most importantly your prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank-you all.

As always, our prayer requests remain the same: 1.) For the Lord's will to be done in this situation, 2.) For Donna's next MRI (March 1 or so) to be clear, 3.) That any side effects from any treatments be minimal, and 4.) and that this tumor NEVER EVER returns in Donna's body.

In His Name, Service & Love,

Frank & Donna
