Dear Church Family & Friends,

Another Clear MRI! Praise the Lord!

And, Donna's Two Year anniversary was this past August 28th!

Yes, it is true, we have been blessed with another clear MRI report! Each of these clear reports are great news, but this one is a little more special. When Donna was first diagnosed, Donna's doctors said that if she could survive two years, the chances of her making five years would greatly increase. (When I asked what happens after 5 years, I was told that the do not keep statistics after that period of time.) Therefore, we have had an eye on this two year mark since this story began. Praise the Lord that we are even emailing about this!

Couple of neat things to report. First, we leave for our cruise this coming Friday. Needless to say, we are getting very excited about going. We will be cruising to St. Marteen, St. Thomas and one or two other spots. We might try snorkeling too! I hope to have some pictures posted on Donna's web site after we return.

The other neat news is that Donna has made it to another 'Survivor's Page' on the Internet. You may have heard us speak about an email group that I am a member of that discusses brain tumors and chemotherapy. Much of what we have learned has been from this web site, http://www.virtualtrials.com . Anyway, on that site is a section for folks to write their survivor stories and Dr. Musella, the webmaster, will post them. There is also a spot where someone can write an email to you if they have any questions for you. The interesting thing about this site is that this is one of the first spots on the Internet that I found where there were ANY survivors at all. In the back of my mind, I wanted to have Donna's story on that site. I emailed it yesterday, and today it was posted. You can visit Donna's page on his site at: http://www.virtualtrials.com/survivedonna.cfm .

Again, our prayer requests remain: 1.) For the Lord's will and not our will to be done; 2.) For this tumor NEVER EVER to reappear; 3.) For the next MRI to be clear; 4.) For all of Donna's side effects to disappear.

We would also ask that you keep in mind two other things. First, we are still seeking the Lord's will for when Donna should stop taking chemo. We are relying on the Holy Spirit to impress upon both Donna and myself as to when she should quit taking her chemo (Temodar). And also, please remember the other brain tumor victims and families. We still get a couple of emails a week from other people. There are many tragic stories associated with this disease and Donna & I want to be sensitive to these folks.

Again, thank-you all for your prayers and kindness and love. God Bless You All!

In His Name, Love and Service,

Frank
