Another Clear MRI! The miracle continues! Praise the Lord!
Donna actually had her scan on November 26, but scheduling with Dr. Prince precluded Donna from getting into seeing him until the following week. Then, we had a ton of stuff going on here, yada, yada, yada! Basically, we have the usual things of life going on - and that is an answer to a prayer from 2 years ago when I prayed for 'Normal stuff to come back to our lives'! And I thank the Lord for that and the clear MRI! He is so good!
And, in other news…..
I brought Donna to the Emergency Room today for a Gall Bladder attack. Yes, a Gall Bladder attack. She had been complaining about some pain on her right side, so she was a little concerned since that was the side effected by the tumor. However, I brought her into the ER around noon and learned via an Ultrasound test that she had 'numerous stones'. So, I'll be contacting doctors tomorrow to schedule a laproscopy. This is the type of surgery where they insert three tubes and suck the gall bladder right out. It should be day surgery. My mother had gall bladder surgery years ago and it was major surgery followed by 6 weeks of recovery - now its day surgery! Her surgery should be in the next couple of weeks or so.
Donna's web site continues to generate many hits! We generally get about 5 emails a week from folks literally around the world asking questions about brain tumors and treatment. Got one this week from Bolivia! Many of these folks are in the same boat that we were in a couple of years ago, and my heart goes out to them. Many get these Donna Updates. Please remember them in your prayers as many of these people have major health problems related to their brain surgeries and/or their remaining tumor.
As always, our prayer remains: 1.) For the Lord's will, not our will, to be done; 2.) for this tumor NEVER EVER to return; 3.) for all of Donna's side effects to disappear, 4.) for the next MRI to be clear.
We also want too wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and Happy New Year! May the Lord bless us all abundantly this coming year!
