Clear! Another Clear MRI! Praise the Lord!
Donna met with Dr. Princewill Ehirim this morning and received the good news that once again her latest MRI was Clear! I do not think that I will ever get tired of seeing Dr. P. smiling when he tells us the news that she is clear again!
Dr. P. did share that he will be going to a Brain Tumor conference in San Diego in February. He told us that he will be sharing Donna's story with neurosurgeons, oncologists, and other doctors at the conference. He will be addressing the same question that we have been asking - how long should Donna take chemotherapy? Since Donna is able to tolerate the chemo so well, his question will not be why should she continue to take it but why should she stop taking it? We will be looking forward to hear what he learns at Donna's next check up in March.
Also, Donna is planning to work this weekend at our church's presentation of Walk Through Bethlehem. (www.walkthroughbethlehem.com) Basically this is a replica of the City of Bethlehem that folks take a tour through and see a living nativity. At the end of the tour, our visitors get to meet with people who can answer their questions about how they can become a Christian. This is where Donna will be working! She said last year during her hospitalization that she wanted to know how the Lord was going to use this situation for His glory and Walk Through Bethlehem is an opportunity for her to share Jesus and her story of His healing touch with other people! If you are in the Suwanee area, please come by Walk Through Bethlehem.
Donna has also been speaking and sharing her story at some local churches. If your church would want Donna to speak, let us know - she loves to tell the story!
Again, our prayer requests remain the same. They are for 1.) The Lord's will above all, 2.) For this tumor NEVER EVER to reappear, 3.) For the next MRI to be clear, 4.) For all side effects to disappear. As always, we covet and cherish your prayers!
Also, we pray that your family and loved ones have a wonderful Christmas Season celebrating the birth of the Saviour of the World - Our Lord Jesus Christ! As John 1:3 reads: Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
