WOW!!!
5 Years! That's right! Donna is officially 5 years post-op today, August 28, 2005! What an incredible story! What an amazing blessing Donna & our family has received!
Also, and I do apologize for the delay, but Donna has had another clear MRI to mark this milestone with! She went for this MRI on August 12. As proof of life returning to normal, I've been too busy to send this update!
And, this miracle that Donna has received is from our Lord Jesus.
Back in September 2000, in one of the first Donna Updates, I shared that Donna's main prayer was that people would come to know Christ through her illness. It was on Donna's heart then, and now, that all of our family, friends and those who read this Email know that if they were to die today, that they would be going to heaven! You can have that assurance through placing your faith in Jesus by knowing in your heart that He is the Son of God and that He was raised from the dead in order to take away your sin! As side notes, Thomas is doing 'Dual Enrollment' for his senior year of High School and has started college. Basically this means that he is skipping the 12th grade. Frankie spent 2 weeks helping a village effected by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia last month. He had a great life changing experience as he enters his second year of college. Donna Marie continues to do well and is looking for a home closer to her mother! Needless to say, the change around here from 5 years ago has been nothing short of a miracle! Praise the Lord!!!
As always, our prayer remains: 1.) the Lord's will to be done in this situation, 2.) for this tumor NEVER EVER to reappear, 3.) for the next, and all future MRIs to be clear.
