Dear Church Family & Friends,

Many of you may have heard by now that we were able to admit Donna at Gwinnett Medical this morning. She woke up this morning complaining of a very bad headache, and was unable to get around much in the bed. Therefore, I contacted the EMS folks and we had her transported to the hospital this morning.

Don's sister Angela has come in from Houston; her brother Michael is here from Kentucky, her Mom from Cleveland, GA is here and my sister will be coming in from New Jersey tomorrow afternoon. Of course, her daughter Donna is in from Alabama.

The boys are over with some neighbors and church members, the Pell's who live around the corner. God Bless the Pells! Please pray for the boys -

Today, her doctor placed a catheter in her scalp to drain some of the swelling that she has been experiencing in her brain. This drain is also taking away some of the pressure that has built up. Dr Prince expects Donna to feel MUCH better by tomorrow. They also have increased her steroids significantly. By doing so, the swelling will be reduced and manageable for her surgery on Monday. As a matter of fact, she is now able to look around when she is called by her nurses, doctors, and yes, even me! Because she has not been feeling well, she has been sleeping quite a bit today. (It could be from the medication that she is being given also.) She is also in the ICU per her doctor's orders so she is getting the best care possible!

Sorry to be rambling!

On the bright side - Dr Prince has been very encouraged with her progress over the last 12 hours since she has been admitted. He expects that the surgery so go well.

Our prayer specifically is for 1.) her tumor to be benign; 2.) For Dr Prince to have the skill & judgment needed to make this procedure a success; 3.) For the Lord's will to be done.

I'll be at Donna's bedside for the foreseeable future, therefore the Emails will be tapering off. I'll be sending updates as I run home in between all of this stuff happening over the next few days.

Thank-you for your prayers! We love you all!

In His Name, Service & Love,

Frank
