Dear Church Family & Friends,
Amazing! The amount of Emails & love that ya'll are showing us is amazing!
Here's where we are…
We went to visit the neurosurgeon this afternoon. The news wasn't too good. Over the past 24-48 hours, Donna has lost most of the movement in her right leg & right arm. The doctor feels that this might be irreversible, only time after the surgery will tell.
So, the game plan is as follows; surgery on the tumor will be Monday about 12:00 noon. The surgery will be about 4-6 hours, dependent on what they see. After that, Donna will be taken to recover in the ICU for 24 hours; from there she should be moved into a regular room. They plan to begin physical therapy ASAP - even while she is still in the hospital.
The doctor hopes that the paralysis that she has is only a short-term situation and that she will be able to regain most, if not all of her mobility back.
Specifically our prayer requests are: 1.) That the Lord's will be done in this situation, 2.) That the tumor is benign, 3.) That she can recover her mobility.
Also, we want to pray specifically for her surgeon, Dr. Princewill Ehirim; for his skill and judgment and for the staff that will be assisting him.
Again, thanx for your support; I wish time permitted me to respond to everyone, but please know that I'm reading all of these Emails, and am sharing them with Donna.
Till the next update,
In His Name, Service & Love,
Frank
